    our software function safety need to confirm I2S to Amp of data is correct and latency info. and also need real time diagnostics.

    Hi Lawrence,

    The I2S to the amp will need to be confirmed at the source.  If is correct, the amplifier will send it to the speakers.  If the amp cannot send it to the speakers, we will provide faults as indicated in the datasheet.  

    For Real Time Load Diagnostics, I suggest the customer move to the TAS6584 since the TAS6422E does not support Real time Load Diagnostics.  If they have a longer time window, I can suggest our new device the TAS6582, which is a 2 channel version of the TAS6584.
