TPA3139D2: TPA3139D2

Part Number: TPA3139D2

Hi,

I am using TPA3139D2 and till now I did not used PLIMIT feature. From now I want to limit output power to 1W. What is voltage divider I have to define in purpose configuring this limit. Do you have any expression for calculation.

Second question: can I change PLIMIT "on the fly" Let's say in power up it was configured "no limit" and after CPU started it change divider ration to limit 1W?

Thank you

The output peak voltage is around 4 times of the voltage at PLIMIT pin. Usually use two resistor to divide the voltage at PLIMIT pin. You could use your output power and load value to get the peak voltage you need, then set the voltage at PLIMIT pin.

Second question: can I change PLIMIT "on the fly" Let's say in power up it was configured "no limit" and after CPU started it change divider ration to limit 1W?

Not seeing to much about this using, but you could consider using switch to adjust the resistor value at the PLIMIT pin, to control the voltage value.
