LM4752: What is ICC of LM4752 when the device is in mute?

Part Number: LM4752
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3128D2, TPA3116D2

Hello guys,

One of my company is considering using LM4752 for their next products.

At this moment,

They have the following questions. Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
What is ICC of LM4752 when the device is in mute?
They want a device which has ICC less than 1mA under mute mode or shutdown mode.

Q2.
If Q1 answer is more than 1mA, could you please tell me any TI speaker AMP which meets the following requirements?
1. A speaker which has ICC less than 1mA under mute mode or shutdown mode.
2. Analog input, Stereo (=2ch), VCC is more than 26V. a device which has ICC less than 1mA under mute mode or shutdown mode.
3. Power is more than 10W x 2ch at 26.4V VCC with RL = 8ohm, THD=10%
    or 15W x 2ch at 26.4V VCC with RL 4ohm, THD=10%.
4. all architecture(class) are accepted.

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Kazuya.

  • Hi Kazuya,

This is fairly old device, quiescent current consumption is higher than 1mA as you can see from data sheet, first row of Electrical Characteristics and Figure 38.

You can check some of the options from the selection table down this page: Speaker amps | TI.com
    S
ome options may be TPA3128D2 or TPA3116D2. For further questions on those devices please post a new thread with that Part Number so it gets assigned to the proper support team.
