TAS5630: Even without a input signal it runs really hot.

Part Number: TAS5630

I am using the TSA5630 in ptbl mode with a subwoofer. I am using a 48 volt battery which runs at 53volts max. I completely unpluged the input signal but it still runs hot to the touch. And with a small input signal it wil overheat and turn off. I am using a multimeter and it says its pulling 0,22 ampere without any input. I do have a heatsink installed

  • Hi Jasper

We could check when the device OTSD, what is the temperature on the heatsink? If it is well mounted, the temperature should higher than 100C on the heatsink.

And what is the output filter value we used?
