TLV320ADC6140: unable to see available apps in PurePathConsole 3

Part Number: TLV320ADC6140
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC6140EVM-PDK, PUREPATHCONSOLE

We are working with PurePathConsole 3 and the ADC6140EVM-PDK evaluation board for the TLV320ADC6140.

I have only two apps that load into PurePathConsole:

  • TLV320ADCx140 evaluation module
  • I2C Master

The instructions imply that I should have access to many more apps and tools, however nothing else comes up.

In particular there is an audio player (or perhaps a recorder) that would be useful for testing this board.

Is this normal behavior?

Thanks,

Marinna

  • Hi Marinna,

If the ADC6140 EVM is the only thing you've requested access for, then this is normal. The user guide may be assuming that the user might have multiple apps available to them, but these have to be requested per EVM.

There is no audio player/recorder in PPC3. It's only communication is I2C. If you'd like a program to test with, Audacity is a free audio player and recorder.

    Best regards,
    Jeff McPherson
