Hello!

We are currently developing a digital audio system, using the TAS5624DDVEVM for decoding and power amplification. Since the TAS1020B is now discontinued, we cannot use TI's recommended Input-USB Board3 to connect with the TAS5624DDVEVM.

What hardware should we use to connect the PC and TAS5624DDVEVM（or TAS5558) to configure the TAS5624DDVEVM using TAS5558_GUI, PurePath Console, or PurePath Studio?

For me, the TAS5828MEVM has two problems: one is that the output power is too small, and the other is that it cannot perform any DSP processing, so this solution is not suitable for me. However, I found that there are two points in the circuit that can be connected via I2C. You recommended this solution to me, does it mean I can use these two points to connect to the I2S interface of TAS5624SDDVEVM? Through this connection, use TAS5558_GUI or PurePath Console or PurePath Studio to configure TAS5624DDVEVM.

Hi Hongbin

Yes, that I2C port is designed for using PPC software to control customer's board directly, also could used to control other EVM. Using wire to connect SCL, SDA and GND should be no problem to work.
