Hello,
My customer is asking about headphone output on TLV320DAC3100.
(Customer conditions)
・HPVDD:3.3V
・Analog attenuation:0dB
・Headphone/Lineout Driver:0dB
(Question)
According to datasheet, headphone output is 0.707Vrms at Full-scale output voltage (0 dB).
When Headphone/Lineout Driver will set to +3dB, will headphone output be output 1Vrms?
(How much is head margin?)
They think it can output up to about 1Vrms (2.83Vpp) without clipping because HPVDD is 3.3V.
Their understanding is correct?

Hi Tao,
There's clipping on the negative swing of the output at ~ -1.25V.
