DIT4096: VDD/VIO capacitors

Hi All,

I have a question regarding DIT4096.

In the TYPICAL APPLICATION of the data sheet, 0.1µF to 1µF is installed for VDD/VIO.
The customer's board has 0.01uF and 10uF capacitors on VDD and 0.01uF and 10uF capacitors on VIO.
Will there be any problem?
DIT4096 is broken on the customer board. I am reviewing the circuit diagram to confirm the cause.

Hello Ishiwata;

I don't think the sizing of the "bank" capacitors (the big one) and "bypass" capacitors( the smaller one) will result in the board not functioning. The size they have should be fine. Here are two links for your reference.

I have an additional question.
If I fix the High and Low of each mode setting pin, is it okay to connect Low directly to GND and pull up High with 10kΩ?
Mode setting pin is FMT/FMT1/MODE/MDAT/MONO etc,,,.
