I have a concern about a possible leakage path on my board on the VREF pin. There is the possibility of surface contamination which can create a leakage path thru/around the 2.2uF cap we have from VREF to GND. (The data sheet says to just put a 1uF or 2.2uF cap to ground from VREF.)
What would happen if I had some leakage through/around this cap?
Would it load down the VREF output to below 1/2 AVDD and possibly cause problems with the ADC working properly?
What is the output impedance of the VREF pin?
