TAS5630 AGND and GND

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5630

Hello,

I am preparing a combi-layout for TAS5630. I have seen in the EVM board the AGND and GND are tied together. Do we need to separate AGND and GND?

I think we have to separate each output grounds also (GND_A, GND_B, GND_C, GND_D). Could you please give suggestions about the grounding of TAS5630?

Regards,

Anas

  • Anas,

We have spent an incredible amount of effort by many expert audio engineers to optimize the layout of the EVM. You can take advantage of this effort by copying the EVM exactly. Every change you make decreases the likelihood of your success (just look at some of the other threads on here...). Grounding is especially critical for this device, and you should not change it.
