what is the input impedance of TPA2026d2? Can I chain the input of TPA2026 together with another amplifier input (also differential), with DC blocking cap to separate them of course. I think I can but the TPA2026 data sheet does not have input impedance specified.

    Hi, Hongwei,

    The input impedance actually changes with the gain the device is running at according to the AGC from about 10 kohm (diff) at max gain to about 130 kohm (diff) at min gain.

    So, just about any op amp or anything else can drive the inputs.

    If you want, you can actually eliminate the dc blocking caps if the output of your pre-amp is biased within the input common mode range of the TPA2026D2.
