TAS5713 vs TAS5715

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5715, TAS5713

Hi,

I have been looking at the TAS5713 and comparing it to the TAS5715. In terms of output power they seem very similar. Are there any output power advantages to using the TAS5715?

Thank you

  • Hi, Alexandrea,

I have asked one of my guys to look into this for you. I take it you are leaning towards the TAS5715? Have you been using the TAS5713?

He has a meeting that will take up the morning, but he should get back to you by COB Tuesday.

  • Hi Alexandrea,

I have been looking at the TAS5713 and TAS5715.

Actually, there is no big difference between TAS5713 and TAS5715 except ‘Headphone’. TAS5715 support Headphone mode. So, TAS5715 have more power consumption than TAS5713 in mute.

    Below table is detail.

From the viewpoint of Output Power, Both devices have exactly same output power if two devices operate at same condition. The main thing that dominates is Rds(on), since these two devices have same Rds(ON) -110mohm.

So, there is virtually no difference.
