TAS5602 vs TAS5601

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5601, TAS5602, TAS5716

Could you tell me any major difference between TAS5601 and TAS5602 ?

We are thinking to use subwoofer with TAS5716 and reference design shows TAS5601

but  TAS5602 price is cheaper

  • Hi Don.  The TAS5602 has single ended PWM inputs whereas the TAS5601 has differential inputs.  Also, the TAS5602 added a HIZ input which can be used to mute the outputs in the case of a sudden power down.  This can help to reduce pop in the case of a supply drop out.

    Best regards,
