DSD1794A analog output behaves strangely

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DSD1794A

Hi,

I am trying to operate a DSD1794A in 24-bit, 192kHz in PCM (I2S) mode on a custom PCB, but without success. :-(

I am sending data only when L-CH frame (PLRCK=Low). I've changed the OS[1:0] bits in register 20, to 0x01 value (reg+data = 0x1401).

My clocks are:

- PBCK = 12.288 MHz

- PLRCK = 192 kHz

- SCK = 24.576 MHz

I get REALLY strange stuff at the analog output, far-far away from the 1kHz sine I supposed to see. I get something ugly - like chopped 20Hz sine, at low quantization.

Scope of a 16bit signal at PDATA & PLRCK pins (don't mind the ringing at PLRCK signal - it's my oscilloscope issue...):

Signal at L-CH analog output (10mS/div, probing directly at pins 25 + 26 of DSD1794 chip):

Am I doing something wrong?
