TAS5717 DRC compression ratio

Hi, 

I am new to audio signal processing so please forgive me if the answers are too obvious.

I am trying to figure out how to setup TAS5717 DRC to properly limit the audio output with desired compression ratio.

In the data sheet (SLOS655A), figure 40 shows I have options to change the compression ratio (K) and gain (O), but I can't find the registers for them.

Does TAS 5717 DRC function more like a limiter rather than a compressor?

Also SLOS655A p30 said threhold (T) format is 9.23, but the initial values for 0x40 (p36) and  GDE software and  (TAS57XX ver 3.2 build 7) shows T is in 5.27 format (10^(TdB/20)*2^27).  In TAS57xx Dynamic Range Control (SLOA148), T has a different equation but in 9.23 format. Which one is correct?
