Subwoofer Out / Crossover with TAS5508C or similar PWM Processor?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5631B, TAS5508C, PCM4220, TAS5558, TAS5548

Hello,

thanks for reading my question. I'm actually planing a 2.1 High Quality Soundsystem with the follwoing Components:

PCM4220 AD Converter -> (I2S) -> TAS5508C -> (PWM) -> TAS5631b -> Mid/High Speaker

So no I need a Crossover for the Mid/High Speaker and the LFE / SUB Line Out (for the external active Sub). Can I realise the crossover with the TAS5508C PWM Processor? I only saw a 7-Biquad Filter but I think that's not what I'm looking for.

So do I need a DSP Chip for realising a Crossover?

Thanks for helping,

Best regards!
