I am trying to characterize TAS5717 for a new design with TAS5717EVM board.  

My setup is 

LIN = 1VRMS

RIN = 1VRMS

JP4 is selected for ADC

VIN = +5V

PVCC = +20V

I can connect with TASGDE and read register values 

I have unmuted and turned volume up

unchecked shutdown

I don't see any output from LEFT or RIGHT speaker output.

Do I need any additional settings to make it work?  please help

    Hi ASB,

    Are the output PWM's switching? (the filter-inductor pad can be probed to monitor the PWM).

    If the PWM's are present, (switching at 384kHZ frequency), the device is initialized fine, and perhaps the issue is with input audio path). If these are not switching, the device has not been initialized.

    Also, please use the I2C memory tool in the GUI to read registers 0x1B, 0x05, 0x07 & 0x02.
