^ years ago we designed a new line of multi channel amplifiers using the TAS5142. At this moment the product is going through a major redesign. When I look at the product catalogue, it seems to me that the TAS5142 is "not recommended for new design" although this is not explicitly mentioned, and that it is better to use TAS5342a, which has lowe Rdson fets and thus higher efficiency.
Is this conclusion correct?
There is are some curious issues in the TAS5342A datasheet, all graphs mention at 10% THD+noise, including the THD vs output power figures itself!
