TAS GDE for 57XX - Requested component (BQ3) not found - Windows 7

Hello,

I've been trying to run the GDE for our TAS5717EVM. My Laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit.

After a fresh install, when I start the GDE, I always see an error:

Requested component (BQ3) not found

I've changed the application properties to run as administrator, no change.

Can someone please help?

    Hi, Frederic,

    Welcome to e2e, and thanks for your interest in our products.

    I have not seen this error before, but let's see if we can get it working.

    That is our older generation GUI, and it may be due to the environmental variable. Unfortunately, we use a windows variable for this. The instructions to change it can be found here.

    Let me know if this fixes the problem for you.

    Hello Don,

    Thanks for your prompt answer. I did follow the instructions to set the environment variables. Same issue.

    A similar error was described here:

    But not direct fixes were given...
