Question about PGA2310

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA2310, TAS5414C, TAS5414C-Q1, TPA3111D1-Q1

We are looking at PGA2310 to use is as audio amplifier.

We need about 5W output.

Also It needs automotive q-100 qualified.

Can you check that I can use it as a audio amp.

Or If you have other devices can be replaceable to TDA1905. please share with me.

  • Hi, Jim,

I have asked the apps engineer for the PGA2310 to comment on your request.

However, the PGA2313 can't output that much power. You will need to use an audio amplifier to drive the load. Something like the TAS5414C.

  • Thank you for your prompt answer.

    Have a nice day.

  • Hi Jin,

Depending on your specific requirements, there are 2 devices that could work - TAS5414C-Q1 or TPA3111D1-Q1. I believe you're looking for one channel, 5W output power, mute function, wide operating supply voltage, Q100 qualified audio amp.

TAS5414C-Q1: 4 chan, can support 25-50W output power per channel, audio mute pin, 6v-26v operating range, designed for automotive with full I2C diagnostics & load dump protection.

TPA3111D1-Q1: 1 chan, can support 15W output power per channel, SD (low active) input will place device in low power state and mute audio, 8v-26v supply range, Q100 qualified.

Pls let us know if any other questions.

    Regards, Arthi
