TAS5717 PBTL Configuration for L-ch and R-ch Mixing

Hi,

Could you please tell us the register settings for the L-ch and R-ch mixing with the PBTL configuration?

    Kato-san, See page 4 of the d/s. Use the input mixers register 0x72, 0x73, 0x76 and 0x77 to mix L and R data. What mix do you want? (L + R)/2 set the registers listed to 0x00 40 00 00.

    Hi Kato-San,

    In addition of what Damian said, you need to configure PWM shutdown group register (0x19) according to the desired channel to use, 0x3A for Ch 1 and 0x35 for Ch2.

    Also, PWM Output Mux Register (0x025) must be configured according to the output connections, such as:

    A+B and C+D  →  Reg 0x25= 01 00 22 45 (Ch1 Data)
                                     Reg 0x25= 01 11 33 45 (Ch2 Data)

    A+C and B+D  →  Reg 0x25= 01 02 02 45 (Ch1 Data)
                                     Reg 0x25= 01 13 13 45 (Ch2 Data)
