TAS5721 Linux Drivers?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5721

I'm working on a BeagleBone Black cape that would greatly benefit from a power audio amplifier IC with digital inputs like the TAS5721. But I can't tell if Linux 3.x or 4.x has support for this in the kernel already. Does anyone here know, or can anyone characterize how hard it will be to write a driver for it?

Thanks.

  • Hi Rick,

The TAS5721 is a !2C controlled device, we don't have available Linux drivers for this device. You may be able to write the registers of the device manually with any I2C tool.
