a amplifier system: PCM1808 + TAS5731 + MCU,  MCU generate a 12MHz clock apply to PCM1808 and TAS5731 as MCLK.   but i don't know how many diffirences will be,  will a 12MHz  MCLK effect the  THD+N  and SNR? or any other feature? is there any document that TI can offer to me? thanks.

    Hi user3574206,

    The TAS5731M will accept only the specified MCLK frequencies from the datasheet. Otherwise it will show a clock error and the device will mute the outputs.

    If MCLK can't be provided with the specified frequencies from the datasheet, this device can use MCLK tied to BCLK at 64xFs long as the audio is configured as 44.1Kz or 48KHz.
