Hi,

Could you please tell us the recovery time from the overcurrent protection if a short circuit on the output is removed ?
Moreover, when is /FAULT pin asserted to low although the overcurrent response time is 150ns ?
In other words, it is response time for /FAULT pin.

Hi Kato-san,

The Over-current protection of the TAS5717/19 is not reported with FAULT signal, it reports Over-temperature and Under-voltage conditions.

You can detect an Over-current condition by reading bit D1 of register 0x02. If R02 bit D1 = 1 and FAULT=1, an Over-current event is detected.
