Device for required Amplifier Output Power

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5342L

Question: My appliacation requires an amplifier able to produce 75 Watts of output power.  I have checked the website and find that you do not currently manufacture an amplifier capable of 75 Watts of output power.  What are my alternatives?

Answer:  Virtually any of our amplifiers can be used at a power output less than the datasheet's specified value.  In your case, I recommend the TAS5342L.  It is rated for 100 Watts/channel, so simply refer to the graph in the datasheet and size your power supply for a voltage that will allow the amplifier to have the output power to meet your requirement.
