TAS5342LA, TAS5132 EVM

Hi

We are about to evaluate TAS5342LA and TAS5132 using EVM.

So, we have following questions.

1. We found TAS5342LDDV6 EVM but it seems TAS5342LA is not mounted on the board.

    To evaluate TAS5342LA, should we replace TAS5342 with TAS5342LA on the TAS5342LDDV6 EVM?

2. We found two EVMs for TAS5132, TAS5132DDV6 and TAS5132DDV2.

    Are there any differences between them?

    We want to evaluate 2ch BTL and 1ch PBTL.  Which one is recommended?

    Hello,
    1. The TAS5324A and TAS5324LA are pin compatible devices. There should be no issue changing the devices on the TAS5342LDDV6 EVM.
    Unfortunately this EVM is a 6 channel EVM to evaluate a full surround audio system. Therefore it may take some rework to setup the board in PBTL. The default configuration is 4-SE channels and 2-BTL.

    2. The TAS5132DDV2 is the standard 2 channel EVM and should provide the most flexibility for evaluation.
