TAS5612a minimum output frequenty

I am looking for a class-d solution with PWM input (be generated by a µP)
that can work with very low frequencies ,even DC.

Is that possible with the TAS5612a or is he going to block DC?

I don't need a lot of power, the modified speaker is 6 Ohm DC and I need maximum 1.2A.
Frequentie from 0Hz (DC) to 5Khz.

I use the modified speaker as air pressure control valve in an organ.

Hello,
Since the TAS5612A does not have DC speaker protection, it should be usable for a DC signal output.

However the input PWM still needs to switch within the specified PWM input rate of 352 to 500KHz (Pg. 4 in the datasheet). For DC the PWM duty cycle will determine the DC output voltage after the output of the amplifier is filtered through the LC output filter.

Thanks for the reply.

I created a prototype and Yes, works perfectly as I had hoped for.
The efficiency is very high, by 10V DC on a 5 ohm load (20W) is the current on PVDD 0.88 A at 24 V or 21,12 W!
This is the perfect solution for me, cheap, compact and very efficient.
