Regarding TLV320DAC3203 EVM-K Control Software.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320DAC3203

Dear All,

I am using EVM control software to configure the TLV320dac3203 Chip on the EVM board  .  But the script is not updating according to configuration options that i am selecting ... even after trying "Refresh" . Is there any other way of getting the register values for my configuration.

Thanks,

Saurabh N.Ambulkar

  • Hello, Saurabh,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products!

Could you give more information about this, please? Could you provide some screenshoots/pictures or steps to describe your problem? It is to have a better approach to this issue.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Luis,

As show in the above screen-shots as you can see i am setting the Gain to -5dB but in the script its not updated  and only showing Gain as 0dB .

I need the registers  setting reference so that i can do it with i2c Microcontroller  TLV320DAC3203  as a Master and other Microcontroller as Slave.

    Thanks,

    Best Regards,

    Saurabh N.Ambulkar

  • Hi, Saurabh,

Actually, that script cannot be modified. That script refers to the high performance stereo playback configuration. You may see how the script changes when you select a different typical playback configuration.

So, if you are looking to verify which registers are written, I would suggest to use the COMMAND-LINE INTERFACE tool. This tool is located at the main window. You will see a "Record" button at the bottom of the command-line interface window. Once it is pressed, you may look which registers are written when you modify anything such the DAC gain.

I hope to have been clear. Please let me know if you have more questions or comments.

    Best regards,
    Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
