We want to design PBTL application in TAS5132, but we can't find PBTL application design in TAS5132 datasheet.

Can you show us recommendation of PBTL design for TAS5132?

Hello Na,

1. PBTL is selected using the mode pins as shown below. Note that only PWM A is used in PBTL.

2. For the outputs, A B C and D should each have separate filter inductors. After the inductors, outputs A and B should be tied together and connect across one side of the load and outputs C and D and should be tied together and connected across the other side of the load.

3. The TAS5352A datasheet shows the basic PBTL configuration however as mentioned above with the TAS5132, only "1N" mode (input A only) PBTL is supported.

4. You can test the PBTL configuration using the TAS5132 EVM.

Hello,

Only AD modulation can be used in PBTL. In BTL both AD and BD are supported.

Do you have a recommended solution instead of TAS5132?

For example, TAS5342LA can be used with BD modulation in PBTL/BTL?
