TAS5717/TAS5719 Stereo Line Drivers

Hi, all

My customers will use the HP_PWML/R output of this device as stereo line drivers.
I do not have this EVM.
Please tell me simple questions.

Does this device will be able to output the same sound at the same time from HP_PWML/R terminals while driving the speaker?
(Headphone mode is not used at this time.)
Can the volume control of HP_PWML/R outputs by the volume control of the speaker drive?

    Hi, Masumoto-san,

    The application you mention is not possible as the TAS517 HP_PWMx and Speaker outputs share the same digital audio processing output signal. So, there is no way to use HP_PWMx and Speaker outputs at the same time. The operation mode is controlled by bit D4 of register 0x05. However, if analog input is used as the headphone driver source, you can stream audio through the outputs and through the driver.  

    The volume control of the driver can be selected via bit D3 of register 0x05. Also, as the HP_PWM driver source is the DAP of the device, any change in the main volume registers will affect the HP_PWM output level.
