Asking for tAS5760MD SPK_SLEEP and SPK_SD sequence

Hi Team,
Customer would like to know the sequence between SPK_SLEEP and SPK_SD.
In shutdown procedure, could customer only pull low SPK_SD pin? (did not control the SPK_SLEEP pin ) Is there any side effect for only control the SPK_SD pin?

Thank you and Best regards,

Scott Hsieh

  • Hi Team,
    Could you help?

    Thanks,
    Scott
  • Hi, Scott,

Sorry, It seems I missed this one.  If the device is placed into shutdown while in normal operation, an audible artifact may occur on the output. SPK_SLEEP/ADR pin is used to gracefully put the output stage of the device into to a "High-Z" state. So, in order to avoid the artifacts caused by the direct shutdown, the device should be placed into sleep mode  before pulling the SPK_SD low.
