Hi Team,

customer is evaluate the PCM2902C for audio DAC with USB interface, and they want to know if it needs any USB software driver effort on Linux or Android OS? Please advise. Thanks.

Regards,

Arthur

  • Hi Arthur,

PCM2902C is a standard USB Audio Class device, it doesn't need special drivers as it is automatically recognized by the host system.
Linux systems usually use ALSA driver to interface with USB Audio devices.
PCM2902C is a slave device so you must be sure that the host system can act as master.
