TAS5414A: TAS5414A, B, C version differences

Part Number: TAS5414A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5414C

We have a design successfully using the TAS5414ATDKDMQ1 which is a 36 pin HSSOP package.  This part is indicated as not being recommended for new designs and thus on the obsolescence path.  I know there is a TAS5414B in the 36 pin HSSOP package.  There is a TAS5414C in only the 64 pin HTQFP package.

First, what is different between the A, B, and C models?  Any issues going from the A to B device in the same package? Any advantages to the C model?

I am trying to determine if we just qualify the B version in the existing board footprint or if there is some advantage to the C version in the different footprint.
