TAS5132: Absolute maximum ratings of the current into VDD

Guru 16770 points
Part Number: TAS5132

Hi

Do you have the absolute maximum rating of the current that flows into the VDD of TAS5132?

We want to know the value of the VDD current that would damage device.

(Damage means short inside IC, meltdown of wirebonding, etc)

BestRegards

  • Hello,

We do not specify max current values because that highly depends on the extent of the damage inside the device.

According to the datasheet, the Absolute Max rating between VDD and AGND is -0.3V to 13.2V.

VDD current is specified as MAX 9mA in 50% duty cycle operation and 8mA in Idle or reset modes.

As long as the voltage is kept within the ABS MAX range, no damage should occur.

    Regards,
