TPA6166A2: EVM corsstalk only 37dB

Hi Team,

Customer tested the crosstalk of tpa6166evm only 37dB (with AP, 33Ohms resistors 20mW), the test condition and method according to datasheet.

Could you please help to test again and find out how to improve this?

    Hi Kevin,

    Have you connected the loads to the headphone jack on the board? The 3.5mm jack uses a common-ground which can affect the crosstalk performance. Some evms are designed to mount load resistors on board in order to test crosstalk performance, unfortunately TPA6166A2 is not one of these. Could you please remove the jack connector and connect the loads in a different way to see if there is an improvement?
    I'll try to test one of our evms as well.

    Already removed the jack, 33ohms resister were connected to the output of 6166. You can verify with EVM. Thanks a lot for support,

    Hi Kevin,

    I've tested one of our TPA6166A2 EVM on the lab and got the plot that is attached in this message.
    I used 33 Ohm loads at around 25mW THD+N = 1%.
