PCM1863EVM: About PCM1863EVM

Part Number: PCM1863EVM

Hi Ti experts, 

there is a problem with my 1861EVM board, not sure If i have deleted something that The PPC2 can not recognise the 1863EVM board, 

After I plug the 1863EVM in computer, then I run the PPC2 that It will automically open "Config Runner Tool" , and PPC2 skip the Manual Target Selection window. 

How can I fix this?

    Hi, Fai,

    This is not a common issue, as long as the operation of the EEPROM in the PCM186xEVM is correct, PPC2 should read the board name and load the correct associated plugin. If PPC2 is automatically loading the Config Runner Tool, then there could be a problem with either the PCM186x plugin or with PPC2. Have you tried reinstalling the software?. Another possible cause would be an issue with the EEPROM of the PCM1863EVM.

    Hi, Diego,

    Thank you. I have reinstalled PPC2, however it still doesn't work. ( The I2X board works fine, it also can work with other 1861EVM. )

    I am thinking if there is anything missing in the EEPROM ? FWID ? .......

    Do you have any idea?....
