Hi Team,

Do we have solution to support two digital mic and stereo line-in in the same time?
Can ADC3101 support this request?

    My quick lookthrough the data sheet makes me think that this device will work for stereo digital mic. However, I'm looking for someone who has more detailed knowledge of this device.

    Hi, Scott,

    The TLV320ADC3101 can support up to two digital microphone inputs, however, it is not possible to operate this part with the two digital microphone inputs enabled and a stereo line input at the same time.

    I would recommend you to take a look to the PCM18604 or PCM1865, these devices support up to four digital microphones and have a digital mixer capable of perform signal mixing between stereo digital mics and stereo line inputs.

    Hi Diego,
    Customer would not like to mix the digital mic and line-in signals.
    Could PCM8164 capture the PDM digital mic, stereo line-in and output TDM format without mixing the digital mic and line-in signals?

    Hi, Scott,

    Thanks for the feedback. The PCM1864 is able to stream both analog and digital mic inputs at the same time in TDM format without mixing the signals. This can be configured in Register 12.

    Could you let me know how to set register 12 for the customer user case?

    For DOUT1 and DOUT2, it seem the same data. How to map the line-in/digital mic input and the data channel out relation if not mixing line-in and digital mic input?

    Hi, Scott, 

    For customer's use case, the option would be 01: 4ch TDM. The PCM1864 should be configured in TDM mode, then the device will stream four channels of data. DOUT2 is optional. The data for each channel (Ch1 or Ch2) can be selected using the digital mixing function of the device. As example, you can configure the mixers as follows to stream two channels of digital mic and two channels of analog in data:

    01 4ch TDM:

    DOUT1: Left Line (Ch1L), Right Line (Ch2L), Left Dmic (Ch1R), Right Dmic (Ch2R).
