Hello,

In one of our design we are using Audio Codec TLV320AIC3110 . We are playing Audio on Headphone only then what should be connection for rest of pins and what should be connection for Headphone .

We are using only Headphone with audio codec with MSP430 microcontroller but how to connect rest of pins?

    Hi, Brijesh,

    The unused pins in an audio codec depend of the kind of pin. The unused analog pins such MIC1LP/M and MIC1RP must be routed to a 0.47uF capacitor to GND. Regarding the VSS pins, these must be routed to the ground plane. By other hand, the VDD pins must be routed to the respective power plane (SPLVDD and SPRVDD require 2.7V to 5.5V). The rest of unused pins can be left floated.
