Hi, TI!

I bought TAS3308 EVM.

Purepath Studio and full documentation were included.

I see that Purepath is very powerful software .

But the standard components library is not very big.

Is it possible to download new or  additional components for PurePath Studio?

    Vladimir,

         PurePath Studio is shipped with a piece of software called the component publisher as well as and Integrated Development Environment. You can use the combination of the two to develop a component that can then be integrated into the Graphical Domain.

    Hi Vladimir,

     

    In the demo videos for purpath studio (TLV320AIC2354) video part 1, shows a ADC_Splitter component, which is not supplied with the component library that is included in the purepath studio library. I am wondering if this was a component that was put together, like you have suggested, or if I dont have all of the libraries. Matter of fact there was a also a ADC_Volume component as well.. Maybe I am miss understanding something? I thought possible they have just changed the text name for the component, but after looking at the markings on the component in the video vs the markings on my component they are not the same.

    Any clearification on this would be great.

    Hi, George,

    There are actually two or three different versions of PurePath Studio out there.

    There is a version dedicated to TAS3xxx audio processors.

    There is another, slightly different, version dedicated to TLV320AIC3254.

    Not all components are available in both versions.

    Which device are you trying to program?

    Hey,

    I need some component to rudece the environmental noise and to enhance speech.

    I have heard that there is a noise cancelling compononent on the PurePath Software dedicated to the TLV devices,

    is it possible to get this component and include it to the other version of the Software (dedicated to the TAS3208)?
