Hi Team,
Could you please help review the TPA3144 schematic? What is the recommended gain and PVCC we suggested?
1: Vin: 0.7Vrms. sinale-end input
2. stereo output : 5W/16ohm +5W/16ohm
3. PVDD:12V

    Hi Scott,
    I reviewed the SCH and have the following comments:
    1. Please use RINP as the single-ended input instead of RINN.
    2. 1SPW pin is usually set to low voltage to enable BD mode.
    3. Spectrum spread feature can be enabled by setting appropriate volatge on SSCTRL to improve EMI performance.
    With 12V PVCC, 16Ohm load and 5W output power, the THD is around 6.5%. Is this acceptable for this application? With the max PVCC(14.4V), the THD performance can be improved to around 0.1%.
    About the Gain setting, we can select 20dB or 26dB. If 20dB is used, the max output amplitude is 7Vrms, and the max output power is only 3W. If use 26dB gain, the max output can reach 5W, but for PLIMIT voltage should be set to appropriate level to protect the speakers.
