TAS5614: What is TAS5534 ID default value ?

Hi TI,

In our factory, we need to read  TAS5534 ID from register which is constant value to check TAS5534 IC is available or not.

I have checked the datasheet of TAS5534, there is 0x01(General status register) which default value is 0x03.

The problem is what we read the constant value is 0x01 from 0x01 register by I2c read command.

Could you help to check that?  Or, except 0x01 register,  is there other register we can read ? if the value of the register is constant will be good enough for us.

    I just checked on my TAS5538 board and the value I readback for 0x01 after power-up is 0x03. I even tried writing the default startup sequence and 0x01 still reads as 0x03. If I write 0x01 to register 0x01, I still read back 0x03.

    There is no other register that is unchanging and read-only. Can you try another board? Can you confirm that 0x01 is the actual register you are reading from? Can you provide a scope image of the readback output?
