Hi, 

We have planned to use TAS5558 for our DAC project & I have few questions, 

  1. Can we use TAS5558 as a DAC in combination with TAS5628A, which gives FL, FR & woofer outputs? What will be the signal level in Vrms on the output?
  2. What is the fan out of the PWM output of TAS5558?

    Jaikumar,

    The TAS5558 is a PWM modulator, the output is PWM, you would need to use this PWM with a PWM input amplifier such as the TAS5624. I cannot find any info on the TAS5628A.

    The PWM fanout of the TAS5558 can be controlled by the user, it is highly configurable. Please see the datasheet or download the device GUI by applying for PPC1 here:
