LME49860: Power-on and off Sequence

Part Number: LME49860

Hi,

Could you please tell me the recommended power-on and off sequence with the dual power supply(+15/-15V) ?

Best regards,
Kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

As many other OpAmps, the power sequence would be the following:
-During Power Up sequence, turn on the supply first, then apply a signal at the input.
-During Power Down, turn off the input signal first, then turn off the power supply.
Ideally the supply voltages should rise simultaneously.

If supplies does not rise simultaneously, and there could be a signal present at the input during power up/down, current-limiting resistors can be added at input and output to try to reduce the current flows during this startup time.

    Best regards,
