Hello,

I'm trying to source a heatsink for a TAS5342 - hoping to find something that is widely available in North America from somewhere like digikey or mouser. Any recommendations?

Hi, Matthew,

Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a source for these heat sinks here in North America.

As you probably noticed, we have a mechanical drawing in the EVM Users Guide showing the heat sink we've used on it - http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/slau239/slau239.pdf

We have found the following extrusion - http://www.aavidthermalloy.com/cgi-bin/exdisp.pl?Pnum=65245&LengthUnits=in&ExLength=3&airflow=57.2 which seems like a good starting material. However, you will still need to have the bottom machined per our drawing.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd LOVE to hear them!!!
