TPA6166A2: How does device behave when powered off, especially sleeve & ring2

My customer has a question:

A technical question about TPA6166A2: if we connect active speakers to the device and remove the voltage we hear a loud hum to the (active) speakers. Probably caused by a ground loop. Can you check what happens with the lines 'sleeve' and 'ring2' if the IC is not powered?

Any suggestion what they could do to prevent above?

Hi Frank,

As shown in Figure 28, it is most likely that Sleeve and Ring2 are shorted to GND. I'll try to verify this on an evaluation board.
Do you have more details on how the active speaker connection is made? Perhaps we can think of a workaround based on that.
