Hi,

Is programming sequence of the TSC2102 apply the SLAA197?

If yes, it is described that "Tip 2: The initialization sequence shown in Figure 1 is needed ONLY once after each power up or reset." on the app note.

Isn't multiple reset as below allowed?

POWER UP　→　Initialize　→　RESET（All register clear）　→　Initialize（2nd）　→　RESET（All register clear）　→　初期化（3rd）　→　…

Hello,

From what we've been able to determine, The TSC2102 was released after the devices that were part of the "First Generation of Smart Touch Controllers" Therefore, we do not believe the same restrictions apply to the TSC2102 that are described in the app note. However, if you'd like to be conservative you can utilize the same sequence for the TSC2102 that is described in the app note.

Hello Kuramochi-san,

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're asking whether the product can be reset more than once after it's powered on, the answer is "Yes". You will need to initialize the device each time after reset.
