DRV134: Operating temperature range

Hi,

As per datasheet, the operating temperature range for DRV134UA/1K is -40degC to +85degC.

We are looking for -55degC to +125degC part in the same package.  As per datasheet, -55degC part is only available for PDIP/SOIC 8 pin device.

We do not want to change the package/layout in our design. 

Can you please let us know if DRV134UA/1K can be operated in -55degC to +125degC range?  Are there any test reports available for the tests performed in this operating range?

    Hi Archana,

    According to the datasheet, all packages are specified from -40°C to +85°C and operate from -55°C to +125°C. In most applications there is no significant difference between the DIP, SOL-16, and SO-8 packages. However, for applications with extreme temperature and load conditions, the SOL-16 (DRV134UA) or DIP (DRV134PA) packages are recommended. Under these conditions, such as loads greater than 600 Ω or very long cables, performance may be degraded in the SO-8 (DRV135UA) package.

    So, do you mean that DRV134UA in SO-16 package can be operated in -55°C to +125°C range without any functionality degradation?
    Currently, this audio line driver is used in 600ohm section in our design.
