PGA2505EVM: PGA2505 App can't connect with EVM board

Hi 

I using PGA2505EVM connect to PC with DB25 cable in EVM package,but there is no connection.

PC show LPT1 port in device manager,it loots no problem .

In the PGA2505EVM software , check "System information  " tab , message is " System information is unavailable at this time"

and retry with LPT2&LPT3 are the same .

PC OS is win 7

    Hi Larson,

    Unfortunately, this evaluation board was released over 10 years ago and the legacy software is only compatible with Windows XP (or old windows versions) and the EVM interfaces through the parallel port (most standard USB to Parallel printer ports adaptors will not function).

    The PGA2500EVM/PGA2505EVM is in the queue schedule to be updated with new hardware/software; but these will not be released to production immediately.

    I will contact you directly via email with a possible workaround solution.
