Biquad problem in Purepath Studio for TAS3308

Just started using Purepath Studio today to program a TAS3308. The issue I am having is when I set a biquad to be either high-pass or low-pass, 2nd order, variable Q. I use the Biquad GUI to to this and it appears to readily accept the changes. When I go back to check the values in the GUI the filter type is always changed to Butterworth 1 (but the Fc is still correct). What am I missing?

Hi Jon,

i´ve had the same problem 6 month´s ago. I resolved it by removing and re-installation of PPS.

Since them the GUI works fine.

Re-installing didn't help. Also tried another XP machine and it had the same problem.

Just using multiple first order filters and adding peak EQ filters to get close for now but need a real solution for long term.

Jon,

What version of PurePath Studio software are you running? Have you reviewed the release notes (included in the install package) to verify that the computers meet all the requirements?
