DRV134: Output Diode protection

Part Number: DRV134

Hi team,

Are there internal clamping diodes at the outputs inside the device? If so, what is the nominal and transient currents that these diodes can withstand?

Thanks for your support.

Regards,

Pol

  • There are reverse-biased ESD protection diodes between each I/O pin and supplies.  The maximum allowable dc current in the ESD diode is 10mA but the maximum transient current measued in micro-seconds [us] may be up to 100mA.
